The Meeting
As God placed the pieces perfectly together, some may call it a coincidence, but it was God’s perfect plan to have us both at a church retreat in Farmerville, La. I was asked by a close friend to help lead worship by playing guitar, and Ross last minute decided to attend the retreat. We met that night, and talked off and on over a year. When COVID-19 hit, he asked me to go fishing with him for a first date. Three short months later, we got engaged!
The Proposal
Ross proposed to me on his boat while we were fishing. My family rode up on a party barge to watch it happen. I was so surprised, and it was one of the happiest moments of my life.
The Future
Honeymoon in Gatlinburg, TN, then we will be moving to Dallas, TX as I (the bride) attend Physical Therapy School.
