We had a fun time meeting Kalie and Trent and shooting their engagement pictures at Black Bayou! We’ve been looking forward to this shoot for months now. I’m so glad we finally got to do it, despite the crazy Louisiana weather.

Kalie and Trent are such a fun couple, and they love their dogs just as much as they love each other! They have two adorable dogs who almost came to be in front of the camera with us!

We started out by driving to a spot in the park that they picked out, which is now one of my favorite locations for outdoor Black Bayou Engagement Pictures. It’s a beautiful spot that is just perfect for showing off those large spring trees!

Kalie and Trent, like most couples, mentioned they needed help with poses. We always help our couples with poses but we were amazed about how natural these two were!

After we drove through the park, we headed over to one of my favorite spots on the bayou bank where we had an alligator trying to photo bomb. He did allow us to take some great shots by the water.

Overall, it was such an enjoyable shoot! Kalie and Trent were so easy going, flexible and fun – which makes my job so much easier! So looking forward to her bridal session and the celebration of their wedding day!
