It was a beautiful day at Bayou Desiard Country Club for an (almost) spring wedding. A beautiful venue with classic Southern architecture and sprawling grounds. Overlooking Bayou Desiard, Liam and Madi said their I do’s.

The sun was shining and everyone was celebrating the couple, having a blast. The ceremony was simple and sweet. The couple chose to say their vows in front of family and friends, and a few boat passers.

The wedding party was a beautiful group of people. The bridesmaids were wearing light champagne dresses and the groomsmen were wearing black suits, which made for a nice contrast against all of the green around us. Hanging out with the group of girls and guys made the day fun! Smiling at each other and holding hands throughout the ceremony, the happy couple showed how much they loved each other.

I appreciate a good floral arrangement and I can say the florals were beautiful and was all that was needed to decorate the ceremony. Lindsey at Fine Folks did (and always does) an amazing job creating the white and pink bouquets. Madi was so excited to see her bridal bouquet – she said, “Is this mine!?”.

Just needed to input the proposal story told by Madi, “He proposed to me on October 7th, 2022 at sunset on the Riverwalk in Downtown Monroe. We had spent the day prior at the fair and he surprised me by proposing a week earlier than i was expecting! Following the proposal, we went to celebrate at my parents house and his family surprised me by coming into town. After the wedding, we plan to honeymoon in San Antonio.”
