First off, did you get a wedding album with your wedding package or as an add-on? If not, it’s not too late to order the one tangible thing that will last forever as your family heirloom. Please don’t let your wedding photos sit on a usb drive or your computer hard drive! It’s also easier to share your memories with friends and family by handing them a book to look through (I can even order you a purse size album!). As you are deciding which photos to choose for your wedding album, here are some tips on how to do that!

CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE 20-30ish PHOTOS
Pick your favorites that you cannot stop looking at or that bring back a vivid memory you don’t want to forget. This can include a bride and groom portrait or a look shared between you and a parent or best friend. Love the 20-30 photos that you choose!

WRITE A STORY OF YOUR DAY
Not literally, but photographically. Tell the story of how your day unfolded. A few photos of you and your wedding party getting ready, including hair and makeup. Pick some of your favorite detail photos of your dress, jewelry, flowers or heirloom items that you brought to be a part of your wedding day. This part of the album will show the day as a whole and all the parts that make it unique and special to you.

Selecting wedding photos for your album should be fun but if you are having trouble, please let me know and I’ll be glad to jump in and help! If you haven’t ordered your wedding album yet be sure to click here to learn more about our albums.
