With two Monroe wedding venues, Jesus the Good Shepard Church ceremony and Bayou Desiard Country Club wedding reception, this winter wedding celebration was a mix of elegant and whimsical. The exposed woods, greenery and all white flowers decor was the perfect choice for a December winter wedding.
Jordan surprised Rachel with dinner at her favorite restaurant, Tiny Boxwoods in Houston, for her “brothers birthday celebration”. While Rachel and Jordan were strolling through the garden, he got down on one knee and proposed — she was surprised and only thing she could say was, “Is that thing real?” He convinced her it was not a joke, then her entire family came out from behind the fence!
They enjoyed the rest of the night having dinner at the restaurant’s farmhouse table under twinkling lights in the garden.
On the wedding day, Rachel looking absolutely stunning in her BHLDN gown (I do not see enough brides wearing this wedding line by Anthropologie!)
Friends and family had a great night of celebrating Rachel and Jordan’s new wedding journey at the Bayou Desiard Country Club wedding reception.
