In our charming town of Monroe, where history meets modernity, I had the pleasure of capturing Aubrey through my lens once again. Our journey began years ago when I first met Aubrey, photographing her senior pictures. Little did I know that our paths would cross again, this time for a magical downtown engagement session that unfolded against the backdrop of Monroe.

On a crisp and very frigid day, with temperatures hovering around 30 degrees, love warmed the atmosphere as Aubrey and Major embarked on a memorable photoshoot. Downtown Monroe, with its busy streets and historic architecture, provided a picturesque setting for the beginning of their downtown engagement session.

As we strolled around the sidewalks and talked about school and their future plans… onlookers would stop and comment on how cute they looked or just a random horn honk giving them support!

Despite the chilly weather, the warmth of Aubrey and Major’s love radiated in every photograph. From hidden alleyways and unexpected rooftops, we explored the nooks and crannies of downtown Monroe, documenting this exciting milestone in their lives.

The adventure didn’t end in downtown Monroe; we continued our photoshoot by transitioning to the Garden District. They both love the homes in that area, reminding them of the quaint homes on visits to New Orleans.

As I clicked away at the downtown engagement session, the focus remained on capturing the genuine emotions shared between Aubrey and Major. Monroe, with its historic charm and modern allure, became the canvas for a love story that will be cherished for a lifetime. Their engagement pictures serve as a testament to the enduring power of love in every season of life.
