Ainsley and Matt said “I do” at Bella Rouge Venue in Simsboro, LA. It was an amazing wedding celebration on a typical Louisiana weather day…stormy clouds blowing by with peaks of sunshine bursting out on occasion. Family and friends gathered together to see A & M start their new life together as husband and wife. I am beyond thrilled that I had an invite to document it all!

By mid-afternoon is was drizzling, but you can still hear the joy and laughter. Decked out in cute robes, the bride and her bridesmaids spent time getting ready in the upstairs bridal suite at Bella Rouge Venue. Meanwhile the groom and his groomsmen were downstairs hanging out and getting ready.

After everyone was dressed, A & M spent a moment together, back to back, reading letters they wrote to each other and talking about their day so far.

We took wedding party photos on the front steps of Bella Rouge Venue. The wedding venue is so beautiful as is and the white backdrop is what I dream of!

The ceremony began and the doors opened for Ainsley to walk down the aisle. Her smile was unforgettable and Matt’s reaction was pure awe for his bride. Many sniffles could be heard throughout the room.

Ainsley’s mom did a superb job of creating all the floral arrangements and I couldn’t help but photograph every detail. One of the things I love most about weddings is seeking out the unique, meaningful touches a couple has hidden throughout the day. At A & M’s wedding day, they chose to have a friend officiate the wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony, we headed outside for bride and groom portraits. Bella Rouge Venue has a great field with wispy grass and a backdrop perfect for sunsets. When we were done, the DJ cranked up the music and it was time to party with friends, one of my favorite parts of the wedding day! Fun glow sticks (great for pretend microphones) and lighted glasses made it so fun!

A sparkler exit and back to dancing was how the night ended. We gave A & M hugs goodbye and wished them well on their honeymoon (Sandals, I’m so jealous!) I am so grateful I was able to document this Bella Rouge Venue wedding day!
