White Oak Venue, Ruston La, Wedding featuring Coplen & Anna

Every wedding day is uniquely beautiful, but as a wedding photographer, there are some celebration that stick out in my memory in a special way, like this one at White Oak Venue in Ruston, La. Sometimes it’s because of the breathtaking venue and other times because of personality-packed celebration of the wedding day planned. There are some wedding days that I’ll never forget because the couple chose vendors that turned a wedding day into a fairytale. And that was the case with Coplen & Anna’s White Oak Venue in Ruston, La wedding day!

I knew Anna was going to be absolutely stunning in her wedding gown, because we did her bridal session a couple months before the wedding day. The lace on her gown was exquisite, not to mention the sparkle on her straps bought from Fabulous Frocks in Shreveport. Her bridesmaids had an emotional and excited reaction to seeing her for the first time in the wedding gown. Moments like this are what make the pre-ceremony some of my favorites on a wedding day! I always catch myself smiling behind the camera at these precious moments.

Walking into White Oak Venue your eye goes straight to classy and elegant floral arrangements created by Emory Wood. From the buffet table centerpiece to the table top centerpieces, the artistry on display was incredible. The wedding cakes made by Moore Cakes looked beautiful and tasted incredible. After the ceremony, friends and family had a great time on the dance floor – watching the bride and groom dance the entire night, I couldn’t help but laugh with them as I worked around the room.

I can’t say enough about Adrienne Steele with Sage Events for all the hard work she does helping to plan, coordinate and executing the perfect wedding for Anna & Coplen. The work of talented vendors can turn a heartfelt celebration into one that’s impossible to forget. I am so impressed and honored to work with so many amazing artists and wedding vendors, and beyond excited to document it all!

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Johnson, I know your marriage will be just as beautiful as the day it began!
